Thanks to someones great help I finally figured out that my old camera really has a macro shot function! Awesome isnt it! ;) So, I still dont get all that photographer stuff but at least I am able to make some decent shots of my recent dollhouse minis. Nice break from making jewelery. Lets start with some tasty fresh bread in a basket ;) Followed by a basket of fresh apples ;)

I thought of trying a new more "concept art" like style and I must admit I had major fun while working on that little thing, some sort of a "deep sea mermaid" Its not a speedpaint but also not as polished as my usual stuff.. anyway, I like it alot. I think I ll do some more artwork  in that style - staying away from the photorealism (which is still an annoying goal to achieve o.O) for awhile.

So... I told ya.. ;) Here some sketchy watercolor I did last week. At the moment Im dabbing again into oils. Doing.. waterdrops.. apples.. more apples.. working my way through to paint grapes - yay!
